Shelby is a communications and research professional with experience crafting clear, strategic messaging and producing analysis that supports policy and organizational decision-making. Before joining GuidePost, she worked in consulting at Mercer, advising clients on total rewards and change management communications and developing strategies grounded in workforce and organizational research. She previously worked in corporate communications at ISG, where she developed internal communications and produced external content on issues shaping the business technology landscape, including the firm’s research, insights, and advisory work. Earlier in her career, she conducted research at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, contributing to academic work on entrepreneurial finance capital and the gig economy and leading community-based research and policy projects. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Policy Studies from Syracuse University.
